The Girls & Science experiences continue at the Girls & Science takeover of 2nd Saturday at the CSU Spur in Denver. There will be fun STEM related activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

CBS Colorado's Kennedy Cook takes us behind the scenes at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science where the 11th annual Girls and Science event kicks off Friday night and focuses on girls and careers in STEM.

SWAT is based on the 1975 ABC series of the same name, and stars Shemar Moore as Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson. Shawn Ryan and and Dettmann executive produce with Justin Lin, Neal H. Moritz, Marney Hochman, Pavun Shetty, Billy Gierhart, Moore and James Scura.

CBS has canceled its long-running action drama “ S.W.A.T. ” after eight seasons and 163 episodes, the show’s producers and stars were told on Thursday. But this represents the third time “S.W.A.T.” has been cancelled by the Eye net — so it’s probably tough to tell at this point if it’s really, really the end.

Despite the cancellation of these two shows, the FBI franchise will continue to find significant representation at CBS through FBI and a new show still in the works, FBI: CIA which will highlight the two agencies working together to solve high-profile cases.
