An "extensive investigation" is underway in Fall River after a fire at an assisted living center claimed the lives of nine people.

The Massachusetts assisted-living facility that caught fire Sunday evening, leaving nine dead, was slated to undergo a recertification and compliance review process later this year.

NBC10 asked the Fall River Fire Department for its inspection records of Gabriel House. The people in charge of the records had been working overnight and through the day on the fire, and told NBC10 they didn't have those records available now.
