Oklahoma City's superstar guard set a record in the team's win against the shorthanded Bucks, marking another notch in what could be an MVP season.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 34 points in only 22 minutes as the Thunder rolled past a shorthanded Bucks squad Monday night at Paycom Center.

After league-shifting trades over the weekend, basketball is back in the spotlight as the Oklahoma City Thunder play host to the Bucks inside the Paycom Center.

The Thunder (38-9) are fresh off a much-needed win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. They scored a season-best 144 points and Aaron Wiggins led the way with a career-high 41 points. Meanwhile, the Bucks (26-21) are on the second night of a road back-to-back.

The Milwaukee Bucks will pick themselves up off the canvas and try to right some wrongs tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The last time these teams played, the Bucks won a championship; let’s hope that’s a sign that they’ll get their mojo back.
