Ferrari have confirmed that their 2025 F1 car will be called the SF-25, in line with their last two Scuderia challengers. Lewis Hamilton will debut in scarlet red this year and is set to drive the SF-25 for the first time at the official three-day pre-season test in Bahrain from 26-28 February.

It was this kind of wonder that Hamilton, a seven-time world champion who has seen and won it all in Formula One, sought when he decided to move to Ferrari. For all the success he enjoyed with Mercedes, nothing could match the history and the magic of F1’s most iconic team.

Seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton says he has realized his “dream” after his first official day at Ferrari, promising “a new era” for the team.

The incident happened during a three-day test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the team’s 2023 F1 car.

Ferrari vice-chairman Piero Ferrari said there is “excitement” within the team about Lewis Hamilton arriving for F1 2025 and the “first approach was very nice with everyone” at Maranello. Hamilton made his first factory visit as an official Ferrari driver almost a fortnight ago before taking part in the Scuderia’s annual ‘wake-up’ test at Fiorano a couple of days later.
