Natalia Padilla has scored one goal and set up the others for Poland’s first ever Women’s European Championship win, 3-2 over Denmark in their final group game in Lucerne.

Poland entered Switzerland as huge underdogs, especially since this is their first appearance at the Euros, and their first major international competition since the Algrave Cup six years ago. They had a tough time against Germany eight days ago before losing to Sweden, 3-0, on Tuesday.

Poland signed off their maiden Women's Euros in style with a 3-2 victory over Denmark, showing that they had learned the lessons of defeats by Germany and Sweden to grab their historic first goals and first win at the tournament.
