Texas managed just one run across the first two games, coming on a solo home run by catcher Rylan Galvan. The Longhorns suffered a 9-0 loss on Thursday night before falling 6-1 on Friday.

After Zach Root set the Longhorns down in order again, Carson Boles crushed a breaking ball out to left for a two-run homer to give Arkansas the lead. The Razorbacks hit three balls over 100 miles per hour in the inning against Ruger Riojas, who escaped the inning with a 5-4-3 double play.

It is time for yet another monumental SEC series for the No. 1 Texas Longhorns (38-5, 19-2), as they hit the road to take on the No. 11 Arkansas Razorbacks (37-9, 14-7) in a renewal of another bitter rivalry.
