Two girls were located on Thursday after they were believed to have been abducted by their father in Hanford, Kings County.

Authorities in Kings County on Thursday confirmed that two young girls believed to have been abducted by their father after the girls' mother was fatally shot have been found safe and the father arrested.

Deputies said he was tracked through cellphone across the Mexican-American border and was talked into surrendering Thursday morning.
