Bobby Banson, a lecturer at the Ghana School of Law and private legal practitioner, has urged traditional rulers to take up the fight against illegal mining and arrest those involved in it.

Bonsu, has questioned the Speaker of Parliament’s authority to suspend Members of Parliament (MPs), arguing that neither the Standing Orders nor the Constitution grants him such power.

Private Legal Practitioner and Lecturer at the Ghana School of Law, Bobby Banson, has said that placing hope in political talks about the fight against illegal mining will not bring an end to it.
