Heavy rains in South Korea have killed at least four people and forced over 1,300 to evacuate. Three people were found dead Thursday in a submerged car, a stream, and a flooded basement.
As of 7 a.m. Thursday, the system was at the far northern portion of the Gulf, just south of the Mississippi Coast, and is expected to move west, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm remains very disorganized with a lower chance of formation.

The good news is a marked decrease in intensity of the thunderstorms in the past two hours. As of 7:30 p.m. there is only one isolated severe thunderstorm warning in effect over the entire Great Lakes region.
