Thousands flee Santorini as 5.2 magnitude earthquake rattles Greek island
An earthquake of 5.2 magnitude struck the sea bed between the Greek islands of Amorogos and Santorini on Wednesday night — the strongest recorded in recent days. More than 11,000 people have so far left the island of Santorini, with 7,000 departing by ferry and 4,000 by plane, after days of consecutive tremors in the area.
