More snow on the way for Sunday night: How much will fall?
Sunday will start off dry and chilly, with highs only reaching the low 30s. According to Boston 25 Meteorologist Vicki Graf, the next snow system is expected to arrive Sunday night. Snow will begin between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., moving out early Monday morning before most people wake up.

The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 7:58 a.m. on Friday for freezing rain until noon for Northern Worcester as well as Franklin, Middlesex, Essex, Hampshire and Hampden counties.

New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine can expect 1 to 3 inches and Boston and much of Mass. will see a coating to an inch; more snowfall is forecast north of the Mass Pike and west of I-495.

Wednesday's weather system is expected to bring a few inches of snowfall accumulation to Massachusetts, according to the National Weather Service. Most of the state is currently forecast to see one to two inches of snow, while the western part of the state could see higher totals.
