Five-time NBA All-Star Luka Doncic has joined the Los Angeles Lakers in a huge three-way trade deal. Doncic, who moves from the Dallas Mavericks, was hailed as a "one-of-a-kind, young global superstar" by the Lakers as the move was confirmed on Sunday night.

Well, the trade was real. And come Sunday, the teams were ready to make it official. First the Mavericks tweeted out their welcome for Davis and Max Christie, who was also part of the deal. And a few hours later, the Lakers made their part of the trade official publicly.
